Jenny, CVT

Jenny was inspired to get into the veterinary field because of her love of animals and desire to return some of the love and joy that animals so freely give to humans. At OVRA, she specializes in care for hospitalized surgical and internal medicine patients. She monitors them closely during their hospital stay and keeps OVRA’s doctors updated on changes in their patients medical condition. She enjoys critical patient care and loves the rewards of helping patients recover and return to their families.

Jenny has been in the veterinary field for nearly 20 years, and joined OVRA in 2004.

She has four cats at home: one Persian named Marmite and three Persian mixes, Garnet, George, and Microbe. Also sharing the house are two dogs – Force a Dutch Shepherd; and Blaze, a Beauceron. Blaze is a canine blood donor and competes in agility, tracking and obedience events. Force and Blaze compete in Schutzhund.
