Physical Therapy at OVRA offers a variety of rehabilitation and conditioning therapies including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, gait training, cold laser, and ultrasound. These may help ease your dog’s pain, speed his recovery, or build his strength and function. We will teach you how to care for your dog when he returns home with a progressive written exercise plan. Manual Therapy and Massage

Manual therapy and massage techniques include osteopathy, mobilization of extremity joints and spine, soft tissue mobilization, cranio-sacral therapy, and myofascial release. These techniques can increase circulation, improve joint range of motion, and enhance soft tissue mobility. Manual therapy and massage techniques help to regain normal joint function, provide relief for tired and stressed muscles, and help your pet build the needed muscle to return to normal daily life after injury or surgery.
