Support Staff Bios

Sara, CVT

When Sara was a child she pretended to doctor make-believe injuries to her own pets and stuffed animals. As she grew older, her love for animals also grew and she began volunteering at local shelters. Sara loves to help pet owners make their family members better.

Sara's family owns a small farm where she has a black Quarter horse named Smokey Joe. Smaller residents include Shelby a Catahoula mix adopted from Greenhill Humane Society, Oliver an orange tabby cat that she acquired with her new apartment, Chloe a toothless cat and O'Malley a long-haired polydactle cat.

Sara received a bachelor of science degree and has been in the veterinary field for 6 years. She joined OVRA in 2009.
