Ellen

Ellen has always been an animal person, but going to veterinary school just wasn't an option for her. She earned a BA in English, but when she learned there was a paraprofessional level in veterinary medicine, she completed a veterinary technician training program. She has been with OVRA for over ten years.

Relationships between pets and their family is something that Ellen enjoys being a part of. She also likes working with others who are dedicated animal professionals.

Ellen has four cats that are all rescues: Sophia, Marsha, Smokey and Harry. Also adding to the household are 3 birds: Lizzie, an Amazon parrot, Betty, a house sparrow who talks and Lentil, a Lovebird. She also has a small herd of registered Nubian dairy goats.
